@Angelika Platen

I produce silver gelatine prints exclusively on fiber based (baryta) paper up to a size of 50x60cm (20x24"). Prints are hand-developed in the darkroom and carefully washed to guarantee optimal conservation.

Tones range from neutral to warm, with mainly Ilford and Bergger papers.

Prints can be done directly from negatives or from a digital file by creating a digital negative.

About digital negatives :

These negatives are the same size as the final print and are designed for contact printing. Years of experience and research have enabled me to produce accurate negatives without defects or artefacts.

This process makes it possible, for example, to digitally restore a damaged negative before printing, or to mask areas very finely in a way that would be difficult traditionally.

I can also produce digital negatives for your process (silver, platinum, cyanotype...) that can be precisely calibrated to your specific needs. Feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.
